A third generation Hispanic American, raised by a single mother in the ghettos of New York City, Angelo saw and lived the sufferings of his immigrant ancestors. Plagued by ignorance, domestic violence, abandonment, fears and insecurities; he observed how every family member at every level, lived an empty, lonely life. Filled with grief and anxiety, he questioned and desired an escape.
Through the kindness of outsiders and people who cared, Angelo met Jesus Christ at middle school age and was transformed for life. He became the first in his family to finish High School and go on to college. Today he lives a productive life with his wife and two daughters. |
